The People Who Make it Happen

Brie and myself took a leap of faith and started The Journey in late 2020 during the Covid outbreak.

Our motivation was to create change in the youth and disability industry. After working for a few large companies in the industry I was sick of the lack of genuine passion and no real life changing results. Too often I saw clients put in a box and with too many walls put up that prevented making a real difference to their lives. So we set out to start a support service where our staff and ourselves can create real relationships with not only our participants but also their families.

We are a Christian based business and we endeavour to reflect Christian morals and values in the way which we operate our services.

Our team come from a diverse range of backgrounds and have all lived unique lives, coming together to apply their learned skills, studies, and understandings to help make a positive impact on each of our clients journey.

We carefully select our workers to match with our clients, ensuring compatibility through sharing similar hobbies, interests and complimenting personalities.

We want to truly be involved in the lives of our participants in order to help them succeed and meet their goals. Whether that be securing a job, studying, visiting a new country or even as simple as being able to kick a ball or order their own food.
